Many of the sets are retiring soon, too.

This Barnes & Noble LEGO Deal Is Too Good for Amazon to Price Match

Barnes & Noble is running its annual Book Haul sale, dropping prices on everything from books and collectibles to CDs and LEGO. As the LEGO editor at IGN, that’s what caught my eye, as the discount on these sets is 25% off. That’s more than typically see at Amazon (whose sales usually drop prices by about 20%). So I went through the all the LEGO deals in the sale and picked out the best of the bunch. Let’s take a look.

LEGO Sets for 25% Off

There are plenty of sets on sale, many of which don’t normally go on sale at other retailers, including Amazon. Plus, a good number of the sets are retiring soon (I’ve marked them as such above). This might be your last chance to save on those sets, as LEGO will stop making them soon, in order to clear shelf space for the new LEGO sets coming out each month.

A few terrific LEGO Star Wars sets are on sale. My favorite is Boba Fett’s Throne Room, from the Mandalorian spinoff on Disney+. Those looking for a kid-friendly Star Wars set can pick up the Tenoo Jedi Temple, which is aimed at the 4+ age group and is on sale for the wallet-friendly price of $29.99.

One of the sets that has literally never gone on sale at Amazon (you can check Amazon price history at Camelcamelcamel) is the LEGO Trotting Lantern. It’s, as we wrote in our We Build LEGO Trotting Lantern feature, a gorgeous celebration of traditional Chinese culture.

Fans of the Wizarding World can pick up a couple of LEGO Harry Potter sets on sale for 25% off. The Dumbledore’s Office set is retiring soon (it may be replaced by a new one eventually that slots into the massive, modular Hogwarts Castle that’s in the process of being released). Then there’s Expecto Patronum, a very cool set that has you build Harry’s powerful defensive spell.

The many LEGO Flowers sets have been incredibly popular with the IGN crowd. And now you can save 25% off the winning Bouquet of Roses and the autumnal Dried Flower Centerpiece, which is retiring soon.

I absolutely adore the 3-in-1 Cosy House set, currently on sale for $44.99. It lets you build the titular Cosy House, but you can then take it apart and use the same pieces to build two other houses with different designs. You can also save on a few LEGO Nintendo sets as well as some LEGO Disney sets, all of which would make great gifts for the fans in your life.

Basically, no matter what you’re into, you can probably find a LEGO set that’s on sale for 25% off to keep you occupied for a few hours. And when you’re done building, you’ll have a great looking set to play with or put on display.
